Dear Mr Limbaugh:
I listen to your show on a daily basis. I feel that it's important to listen to those who have differing opinions so that you can better understand others in order to live together in tolerance instead of division. This is why I listen to you. I know that you represent an extreme view and you entertain your audience by creating controversy. When I hear you mislead your audience and twist the facts, I'm hopeful that others listen to you the same way that I do, knowing that you are not presenting the true unbiased facts. Unfortunately, I'm afraid that there are some who believe that you are telling them the truth, and this is why I felt compelled to correct you on some of your assertions in today's show.
Both you and Sean Hannity today played a quote from Nancy Pelosi stating that anti-health care reform protesters have used swastikas as symbols used during their protests. You both have twisted this quote into feigned offense that she would dare to call these innocent Republican protesters Nazis. As you can see from these pictures taken during the largest pro-health care reform rally in Austin, some of the Republican anti-health care reform protesters, most of them in red, were using swastikas in their signage.

These Republican protesters are not Nazis. They are not supporting the Nazi party. What they are doing is exactly what you accuse Nancy Pelosi of doing. They are following your lead in calling Democrats and the Obama administration equivalent to the Nazi party using offensive and divisive language and symbols. It is time that you use your pulpit to put a stop to these reprehensible tactics which are being used to push both Democrats and Republicans to their most extreme positions in order to maintain the highest conflict possible and stand in the way of actually finding solutions on common ground.
Our country is facing critical issues that need leaders who can bring both sides together instead of pushing them apart. You say that the protesters are genuinely angry. I agree. They are angry, and so are we. You and your rhetoric are fueling this anger. We are tired of the obstructionist behavior that keeps the status quo spiraling out of control with your support. We need representatives in Congress and the Senate who can sit together at the negotiations table and find solutions to our country's most difficult problems. Any representative unwilling to put effort towards a workable solution is part of the problem. This isn't about party, it's about our future. You say that we will remember this vote in 2010. You are right again, and I am counting on that. We all will remember the lack of leadership and courage of our representatives who not only vote no, but stand in the way of progress.
Thank you for entertaining me,
